About this project
This project was developed through a 10-week, team-based mentorship program with industry professionals from Harbor Picture Company, Electric Theatre Collective, and Calling All Talent. Over the course of the program, our team collaborated to concept, design, and produce a commercial centered around the theme “High Technology.” The project followed a full production pipeline, from concept development and pitching to asset creation, FX, lighting, texturing, rendering, and final compositing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Primarily contributed as an FX Artist, focusing on particle effects and simulation.
- Created and implemented Dropping Particles for Shot 3, developing the motion, visual behavior and the look of the particles to support the overall look of the commercial.
- Responsible for layout
- Collaborated with the look development team on lighting for both particles and environment in Shots 1, 3, and 4 to ensure visual consistency and integration with the environment.
- Responsible for rendering Shots 3 and 4, and troubleshooting various rendering and technical issues during the process.
