Process
In a team of four, I took on multiple roles including Director of Photography, Editor, and worked on lighting and compositing alongside a teammate.
As the DP, I contributed to pre-production by creating pre-visualizations, organizing the shooting and equipment lists,
and collaborating closely with the director during production to capture shots that supported our storytelling goals.
In post-production, I created a post-vis, lit the CG elements to match the live-action footage, and rendered them in multiple AOV passes.
I then composited the AOVs in Nuke, applied color grading to blend the elements seamlessly, and finalized the piece with additional color grading and sound design.
Apart from technical skills, this project allowed me to strengthen my collaboration, time management, and especially problem-solving abilities.
It also gave me valuable experience in resolving creative disagreements within the team—listening to different perspectives, finding common ground,
and making decisions that supported both the project’s vision and our workflow efficiency.
